Hwanhee holds fund-raiser

Hwanhee, a member of the K-pop male duo Fly to the Sky, held a one-day charity event at a coffeehouse in Sinsa-dong, southern Seoul, on Friday.

The event was organized to help pediatric cancer patients.

Hwanhee managed the cafe for the day along with fellow singers Whee Sung and Kim Tae-woo, according to his agency H2 Media.

The entertainment company said that all the proceeds from the one-day fund-raiser will be donated to an association that helps children who are fighting cancer.

The 32-year-old singer, who has a deep and booming voice, encouraged his fans to visit the cafe on Thursday night on his Twitter account, saying, “Come and join me. This is going to be a warm winter.”

Hwanhee is scheduled to perform a three-day concert as part of Fly to the Sky from Dec. 23 to 25 at Kyung Hee University, northern Seoul. Gummy will also sing during the shows.

Hwanhee will also accept donations for young cancer patients during the concerts.
