Apink to meet fans in Japan

테스트

Girl group Apink will fly to Japan on Feb. 14 to promote their digital single “Mr. Chu.”

With the song that was released last March in Korea, Apink was able to cement its position as one of the most successful girl groups last year.

With the cute dance song, Apink also differentiated itself from other girl groups who often wear sexy outfits and dance provocatively.

The six-member girl group will leave for Japan next week and will stay there for about 10 days.

A-Cube Entertainment, the group’s agency, said the members will focus more on meeting fans and performing at concerts instead of promoting the digital single on Japanese TV shows.

It is not the first time for the girl group to head to Japan.

Apink advanced into the Japanese music market last summer with their digital single “No No No.” The song received rave reviews from Japanese fans back then.

With two digital singles, “Mr. Chu” and “Luv,” both released last year, Apink earned top honors from numerous weekly TV music shows and end-of-the-year music awards last year in Korea.
