Samsung dominates screens


Samsung Electronics again recorded the largest market-share for flat-screen TVs for the ninth consecutive year. According to an IHS DisplaySearch study, Samsung’s market share as of last year was 29.2 percent, an increase from 26.7 percent at the end of 2013. LG Electronics came in second with 16.7 percent, which was also an increase from 15.2 percent in 2013. Sony came in third with 7.9 percent of the global market share.
