‘SNL Korea’ features AmberK-pop singer Amber, a member of girl group f(x), will appear in the Korean version of “Saturday Night Live” as a main guest.
According to tvN, which broadcasts “SNL Korea,” the episode featuring Amber will air on Saturday.
“She’s been much loved with her candid personality in recent months and you may expect a lot from her this time, too,” the production team of “SNL Korea” said in a press release.
The Taiwanese-American singer debuted as a rapper in the quartet girl group in 2009 but did not appear in reality TV shows that much because of her inarticulate Korean.
But with her recent appearance in a spinoff version of reality TV show “Real Men,” in which celebrities experience Army life, Amber received rave reviews as she did her best in a series of physical trainings.
She also recently released her first solo album.
