Kang Ji-young to voice role in Japan

Kang Ji-young, a former member of the girl group Kara, will voice a supporting character in an upcoming Japanese feature animation.
The animation is one of the newest in the “Detective Conan” series. Kang will reportedly voice a guide in a museum in which the new show is set.
It is rare for a non-Japanese person to voice a role from a Japanese feature animation.
Kang debuted in the country’s music scene in 2008 as a member of Kara but she withdrew from the girl group last April and has been seeking an acting career in Japan.
