Bestie announces comeback record

Bestie, a girl group with four members, will make a comeback with the release of their second album, “Love Emotion,” on May 8.

According to an agency insider, the girl group participated in the process of planning the album and choreographing their songs, as well as deciding on costumes.

The girl group released their first album in July. In addition to their singing careers, each member has been actively pursuing solo activities. Jung Yu-ji, a main vocalist of the band, earned herself the nick name “Post Beyonce” after performing in a musical “Dream Girls,” which started in February and will continue until May.

The youngest member, Haeryung, appeared in various advertisements as a model and took part in a few dramas and films, such as the film “Nice Shorts” (2010) and the drama series “My Lovely Girl” (2014) and “Nine: Nine Time Travels” (2013).

Hyeyeon, Uji and Haeryung were former members of EXID, a girl group that recently gained public attention after one of their fans posted a video of member Hani doing the dance from their single “Up & Down” on YouTube in October.
