YG will provide home for Yoo

Rising scriptwriter and TV show host Yoo Byung-jae, who recently signed a contract with YG Entertainment, has been offered a private house by the agency that is home to renowned artists such as Big Bang and 2NE1.

YG announced on Saturday that Yoo will soon be provided with a 165-square-meter (1,776-square-foot) house to better adjust to the company.

“YG is doing its best to provide Yoo with a more comfortable environment so that he can better concentrate on his work,” said a source affiliated with the entertainment company.

The source also mentioned that the first task Yang Hyun-suk, CEO of YG, did after scouting Yoo was to look for a house for him.

The 27-year-old scriptwriter has worked on various reality programs, including seasons three, four and five of “SNL Korea” (2012-14) and “First Day of Work” (2014).

He also took part in the drama series “The Superman Age” (2015).

In addition to working as a scriptwriter, Yoo also appeared in these programs, garnering much attention for making funny comments.

Yoo has appeared in a diverse range of variety programs, the most famous of which is “Sixth Man Project” on MBC’s flagship program “Infinite Challenge” (2006-present).
