Coupang has fashions, ice cream and tents for your dog

Coupang is holding a special sales event for summer pet items, the e-commerce firm said on Tuesday.

Items include mats for pets that keep pets cool in hot weather and pet ice creams in different flavors including banana and strawberry.

Coupang will also showcase pet accessories and fashion items such as pet tents and water bottles.

Pet harnesses with summery flower patterns, sleeveless t-shirts, shoes and summer hats will also be included in the event.

“Demand for pet products is on the rise,” a Coupang official said. “Items that combine practicality and fashion edginess are particularly popular.”

Coupang said it has set up a separate shopping category for pet products. Categories include items for dogs, cats and fish.

Essential products such as pet foods and sanitizing items, as well as things for play, training and hair styling are also available.
