HiteJinro’s grapefruit soju sells like a million on its first day

테스트

More than 1.1 million bottles of HiteJinro’s Jamong E Isul were sold on Friday the day of its debut, the company said Tuesday.

The grapefruit flavored soju is fast rising in popularity by word of mouths and via social networking sites.

Since its debut, more than 1,000 blog posts and 42,000 likes on Facebook have been made, according to HiteJinro.

With Jamong E Isul, “we will come up with new line of products that caters to our customers’ needs,” said a HiteJinro official.

The new variety is based on HiteJinro’s original Chamisul soju and has an alcohol content of 13 percent.
