Zico to remain on ‘Money’

Zico, a member of the boy band Block B, will continue to take part in season four of the rap survival audition program “Show Me the Money” despite issues related to a car accident he was involved in on Thursday.

In response to the news, the 22-year-old said that he had reflected upon his behavior and that he regretted his carelessness.

The rapper and his manager were involved in a car accident on Thursday after attending a birthday party for Zico’s band mate Park Kyung. The accident was apparently the fault of his manager, whose blood alcohol level was 0.145 percent - high enough for a person’s driver’s license to be revoked.

Zico was sitting in the back seat at the time, though the car was his. Despite being sober, he could still have been charged for allowing a drunk driver to take the wheel.

The police concluded its investigation, however, accepting Zico’s statement that he did not know his manager had been drinking, as he had not been with him at the time. The rapper’s testimony appeared to be supported by black box footage.
