Ha Ji-won, Chen Bolin deny rumors
A spokesperson for the actress said on Monday that “Ha and Chen are not acquainted.”
“They only met once for work and just extended a greeting back at the time. Even though they started following each other on SNS, they haven’t met afterwards.”
Ha and Chen have been engulfed in rumors of a romantic relationship after the two uploaded a series of similar posts on their Instagram accounts.
A few of the coinciding pictures include the two taking a selfie while holding a cat, an image of the universe and one of Gustav Klimt’s most well-known paintings, “The Kiss.” However, the posts that caught the most attention were pictures of each celebrity holding a cup of coffee in Singapore at a similar time.
The rumors were amplified when it was revealed that Ha signed a contract with Chen’s Chinese entertainment company for her activities in China, and Chen went under Ha’s Korean management company for his projects in Korea.
The two are scheduled to work on the same project after Ha completes her current drama series, “The Time We Were Not in Love,” adapted from a Taiwanese drama that Chen starred in.
The upcoming Korean-Chinese collaboration film, “Risking Life for Love,” starring the two TV personalities, is scheduled to premiere in the latter part of this year.
