Seo Sae-won, wife divorce
Comedian-turned-pastor Seo Sae-won and his partner, actress Seo Jung-hee, have decided to get a divorce.The couple finalized the divorce Friday at the Seoul Family Court, marking the end of their 32-year relationship. The pair was married in 1983. Their settlement, however, has not yet been disclosed.
The pastor was charged in May with assaulting his wife and sentenced to six months in prison with two years of probation. The incident, after which Seo Jung-hee was hospitalized for three weeks, apparently resulted after the pastor discovered that his wife was attending a different church.
She filed for divorce in July.
