Singer Taeyeon from the all-female act Girls’ Generation is planning to release her first solo album since her debut in 2007 as a member of the K-pop group.
Even though the decision has been confirmed, the specific date has not yet been decided, according to a person affiliated with SM Entertainment, the 26-year-old singer’s home agency.
Since she is the main vocalist for Girls’ Generation, her upcoming project is highly anticipated by fans.
In fact, her singing ability has been critically acclaimed since she took part in recording various drama soundtracks. A few of these well-known songs include “Can You Hear Me” from “Beethoven Virus” (2008) and “If” from “Hong Gil-dong” (2008).
The female singer also recently collaborated with veteran singer Yim Jae-bum on the remade track of “Scars Deeper than Love,” which was released on Thursday at midnight to celebrate Yim’s 30th anniversary.
Taeyeon is also actively staging performances based on her group’s latest album, “Lion Heart,” which came out last month.
