New boy group announced

Dream Tea Entertainment, to which the K-pop girl group Girl’s Day belongs, is planning to launch a new boy group that consists of five members.

The entertainment company announced that the forthcoming group, named M.A.P.6, is currently preparing for their debut, which is scheduled to take place in November.

The talent agency’s first male act has been named M.A.P.6 because it aims to achieve worldwide fame across all six continents.

The new group is expected to gain stage experience by performing in Japan while Girl’s Day is holding their second round of debut promotional events there through Sept. 13. M.A.P.6 will also join the third round of promotions, which will take place from Sept. 19 to 30.

“M.A.P.6 will actively communicate with their fans before their official debut by performing in various venues,” said a person affiliated with Dream Tea Entertainment.
