LG in partnership to develop driver assistance system
LG Electronics announced Wednesday that it will be jointly working with American semiconductor manufacturer Freescale Semiconductor in developing the next generation advanced driver assistance system (ADAS). ADAS is an automated system that is designed to improve safety, including detection of obstacles to prevent collisions or alert the driver when steering away to the middle of the road, automated lighting and other smartphone connected services.
