Taeyeon stars in a reality show
A reality TV show of Taeyeon will be broadcast on cable channel OnStyle, according to multiple industry insiders.
The reality TV show is tentatively titled “Taenggu Cam” and will follow the singer for 24 hours from the moment she wakes up to preparation for her first solo album, which came out earlier this month.
Taenggu is a nickname many fans use for the 26-year-old singer.
The TV show has not fixed its first broadcast date yet.
Taeyeon has appeared in a couple of reality shows along with her teammates from Girls’ Generation, but this is the first solo show of her own.
Taeyeon recently released her first solo album along with “I,” a title track from the album that topped iTunes charts in 12 different markets, including Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam and Thailand, upon its release on Oct. 7.
Although it is her first solo album, Taeyeon has been singing many original soundtrack songs for TV drama series, and many of the songs were much loved by music fans.
Some of her hit original soundtrack songs include “If” and “Can You Hear Me?”
