Beast on a concert tour in Japan

테스트

K-pop group Beast has kicked off a nationwide concert tour in Japan.

Cube Entertainment, which represents the six-member boy group, said on Sunday that Beast successfully finished their first concert in Ichihara, Chiba, and attracted about 2,000 local fans on Oct. 30.

Starting with the concert in Chiba, Beast will hold 12 performances in the coming month in Hokkaido, Nagoya, Tokyo and Fukuoka.

Cube expects about 30,000 Japanese fans to flock to the concerts.

Beast recently released a digital single, “All Is in U” in Japan, and the group is promoting the new song. The boy group is slated to appear on NHK’s TV music show “Music Japan” on Friday.

Beast broke into the music scene in 2009 and instantly soared to stardom with its macho image.

The boy group released three digital singles last year in Korea but said it will focus more on overseas performances this year.

In order to do so, the K-pop act has launched an independent music label, Beast Music, in Japan in March, becoming the first K-pop act to establish a label of its own.

During a press conference held in Japan in March, the boy group said it would release a digital single every month in Japan until the end of this year through the music label.
