Sunny, a member of the K-pop group Girls’ Generation, will quit hosting the radio show “FM Date.”
Broadcaster MBC said on Monday, “The last episode featuring Sunny will be airing on Nov. 15 as a live show. She decided to leave because of her tight promotion schedule.”
“FM Date” airs from Mondays to Sundays from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Some of the radio shows are pre-recorded depending on Sunny’s schedule, but MBC said Sunny found it hard to juggle hosting the radio show and performing as part of the girl group.
The 26-year-old singer has been hosting the show for a year and six months.
Having debuted in 2007 as a member of Girls’ Generation, Sunny has hosted a couple of reality TV and radio shows. She recently hosted the TV show “Serial Shopping Family.”
