Kepco helps suppliers earn big deals in the Middle East

The Korea Electric Power Corporation (Kepco) said Thursday that 10 of its suppliers are drawing up contracts to export power generation facilities to Iran and Saudi Arabia worth $16 million.
The contracts were agreed on at a series of Kepco-sponsored meetings held last week in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and at the Iran Electricity Exhibition 2015, which took place in Teheran from Nov. 8-11.
The countries have usually imported technologies and facilities from Europe, but these new contracts are the result of Kepco’s efforts over the past few years to introduce its suppliers to the Middle Eastern market.
