KBS announces hosts for awards
Seolhyun, a member of the K-pop girl group AOA, will host the 2015 KBS Entertainment Awards along with singer Sung Si-kyung and comedian Shin Dong-yeop.
The annual awards will be broadcast live on Dec. 26 for two hours starting at 9:15 p.m.
The awards recognize entertainers from various categories of TV shows from comedy to reality TV by honoring those who performed the best throughout the year.
Shin will be hosting the annual awards for the sixth consecutive year, while Sung also hosted the awards last year.
Lee Moon-sae records holiday tune
Veteran singer Lee Moon-sae, center, teamed up with younger singers Roy Kim, right, and Hanhae, a member of the K-pop group Phantom, to record a holiday track.
The three sang “This Christmas,” which will be released on Tuesday.
The seasonal song is reportedly a medium-tempo pop tune.
Lee, who has been active in the music industry for more than 40 years, recently narrated a special episode of the cable channel hit drama series “Reply 1988.”
In addition, Lee’s song “A Little Girl” was recently covered by singer Oh Hyuk and used on the soundtrack for the drama series.
