2NE1’s Sandara Park to appear in new drama
Sandara Park, a member of the K-pop girl group 2NE1, has landed a cameo role in the upcoming drama series “One More Happy Ending.”The drama series touches upon romantic relationships among first-generation K-pop girl groups.
The show has already cast actress Yoo In-na of “My Love from the Star” (2014), actor Jung Kyoung-ho of “Endless Love” (2014) and actress Jang Na-ra of “Mr. Back” (2014).
Park will play the role of Gu Seul-ah, a former member of the girl group Angels who successfully makes the transition to being an actress, unlike the other struggling Angels members.
Park has been appearing in a handful of web drama series, including “Dr. Ian,” “We Broke Up” and “Missing Korea,” in recent months.
The first episode of “One More Happy Ending” will air on Jan. 20 at 10 p.m. on MBC.
