Hyundai Steel gets Kotra prizes for 11th straight year
Hyundai Steel saw six of its products recognized as globally top-ranking goods this year by the Korea Trade- Investment Promotion Agency (Kotra), the agency said on Wednesday.This was the 11th consecutive year the leading steel manufacturer had the largest number of products awarded the annual prize among all Korean exporters.
The designation gauges the global competitiveness of export products.
Any Korean exporter that makes a product with global market size of $50 million or more and has a specific product’s export volume ranking top among all local producers qualifies for the honor.
Hyundai Steel’s six awarded products include steel sheet piling and oil country tubular goods.
