Opening: Lotte Hotel launches new brand L7 in Myeongdong, central Seoul, which is targets to become a door to Korea’s fashion trend for foreign visitors. It has a “style concierge” service to give guests an opportunity to learn more about beauty products and trend. This is a one-stop service that includes make-up and hair styling by Jung Saem Mool Inspiration and a photo shoot. The style concierge will also work with SM, an entertainment agency, so that guests get to experience the life of SM artists. Also the agency’s professional staff provides vocal and dance training, make-up and hair styling tips, along with a chance to photo shoot with them and video recording. To celebrate the grand opening of L7 Myeongdong, the hotel offers L7 Opening Package. The package includes a one night’s stay in a superior room, Villa de Charlotte breakfast for two, two glasses of L7 signature cocktails, and one specially made cosmetic kit by Jung Seam Mool. The rate for this special opening package is 177,000 won excluding tax.

To Feb. 29: Gazing over the intriguing Gwangan Bridge and Haeundae Beach, Park Hyatt Busan’s modern French restaurant Living Room presents the French Vin Buffet until February. The modern French restaurant Living Room offering casual French food and its stylish bar are serving free-flowing French red, rose, white and sparkling wines, famous for their rich aroma and mild flavors, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Mondays and Fridays. Guests are also able to experience French food culture by enjoying the course menu, well-matched with fine French wines recommended by the hotel’s sommelier. The French Vin Buffet is priced at 38,000 won per person. In addition, Living Room is holding a special champagne class presented by the hotel’s sommelier on Jan. 22. Participants will be guided through various wines from Rose champagne to Prestige Cuvee champagnes, to learn about the different subsets of champagne and sparkling wine as well as ideal food pairings. The price for the class is 70,000 won per person. Participants are also invited to chef’s special 2-course dinner after the champagne class for an additional 25,000 won.

Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul
To March 1: The Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul, a resort located in the center of Seoul Namsan, has launched a birthday party package at Chez Blanc where children can enjoy skating and sledding, as well as a great birthday meal. Skate rentals and admission tickets to the ice rink, all the foods kids love and a birthday cake are all included in the package. This package offers two sessions, lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., or dinner from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The semi buffet at lunch will serve spaghetti, combination pizza, bulgogi rice cake, and a Mont St. Clair fresh cream cake. Dinner will offer Hanwoo tomato sauce meatballs, mozzarella bocconcini platter, spaghetti, combination pizza, bulgogi rice cake, fried rice with ham and vegetables, grilled pork belly with mushrooms, a Mont St. Clair dessert platter and a fresh cream cake. Balloon decorations for the party can be provided for an added expense of 110,000 won. The price per person is 70, 000 won for lunch and 80, 000 won for dinner (10 percent tax included). Reservations are required three days prior to your visit and are available for a minimum of 10 people.
