Yewon, a former member of the K-pop girl group Jewelry, is scheduled to make a comeback on “Saturday Night Live Korea Season 7.”
Cable TV channel tvN on Monday unveiled the new crew including Yewon for “SNL Korea Season 7,” the first episode of which will air Feb. 27.
Separately, a representative of Yewon’s agency, Star Empire Entertainment, said she will host a new show on Mnet, a sister channel of tvN, according to several reports.
The agency said neither the title nor the exact schedule of the show is yet known.
The 27-year-old came under public fire after video of a verbal scuffle between her and actress Lee Tae-im on the reality program “Tutoring Across Generations” was leaked last April.
The controversy not only forced the departure of the two stars but also led to the termination of the program.
