Steelheart rocker appears on ‘Mask Singer’
Miljenko Matijevic, the lead singer for the American Rock band Steelheart, made an appearance on “King of Mask Singer” on Sunday to the surprise of the audience.The popular show has its contestants face off against each other while wearing masks to conceal their identities and prevent biased voting. The finalist eventually goes on to challenge the previously determined Mask King, while the loser comes off stage and his or her identity is revealed.
Matijevic, referred to throughout the episode only as “Reticent Lightning Man,” advanced to the final round but then lost to his opponent. After removing his mask, the rock star sang his signature hit “She’s Gone” in front of a surprised audience and judging panel.
The 51-year-old rocker later expressed his appreciation via Instagram.
Matijevic recently signed with the Korean management company Bad Boss and will remain in the country to participate in “various activities in Asia,” the agency said.
