New song out from Lee Seung-gi
Lee Seung-gi, a K-pop singer now serving in the Army, is releasing the new song “Meet Someone Like Me” today.The song is the work of “Gangnam Style” sensation Psy, according to Lee’s agency. Psy, to show his appreciation for Lee’s appearance at his concert last December, composed Lee’s last song before enlisting in the Army.
Under the demanding schedule, the 29-year-old star finished recording his song just before joining the Army.
He left the final touches to the engineers of Sterling Sound, a mastering studio based in New York.
With Lee slated to be out of the spotlight during his military tenure, the music video for the song shows his preparations for the Army and his past activities.
The rookie soldier placed first on music streaming charts in January with the song “I Am Going to the Military.”
Lee enlisted in the Army on Feb. 1.
