Fashion show honors bilateral ties

To celebrate 130 years of diplomatic ties between Korea and France, the French Embassy will host a fashion exhibition this week at the InterContinental Seoul Coex hotel in Gangnam District, southern Seoul.

Collection Francaise 2016 will run 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday on the hotel’s 10th floor.

Thirteen French fashion brands will present their 2016-17 fall/winter collections, which include accessories, shoes, handbags, watches and even dolls.

The event is intended to serve as a discussion platform for Korean fashion designers and companies seeking future partnership opportunities, the embassy said in its press release.

XME, Caresse d’orylag, Flowers for Zoe, La mome bijou, Ateliers Parisiens, Cerise & Louis, Elite Models’ Fashion, Sous les Paves, Avril Gau, Charles Jourdan, Maison Ernest, Mi - Mai, and Twins for Peace are participating.
