Dean’s first EP album was released just last week. The seven tracks are connected by a story line when heard in backward order - it is about a man who immediately falls for his lover and feels hollow after they break up.

Although love and farewells are the most common topics of music of any kind, Dean presents them with his unique style by drawing inspiration, for example, from movies - this is how the third track, “Bonnie & Clyde,” was born.

Although young, Dean has had a long musical career. At age 16, he was a part of an underground rap crew, and he later composed songs for Exo, VIXX and others. He is also known as a producer under the name Deanfluenza and released his first single album “I’m Not Sorry” in the United States last year.

His latest album features various singers. “Pour Up,” featuring Zico of Block B, is an interesting combination of R&B and hip-hop. “What2do,” with Crush and Jeff Bernat, shows how different styles can naturally mix within a song. And “D” and “I Love It” feature Gaeko and Dok2, respectively.
