Psy to attend China Music Awards next week
K-pop singer Psy will attend the upcoming China Music Awards.Reportedly, Psy, along with other Korean stars such as VIXX and iKon, was invited to the event, which will be held Friday at the Cotai Arena in Macau.
Having been held since 1994, the China Music Awards are one of the most authoritative music awards in the country. Many renowned Chinese stars including Wang Leehom and JJ Lin will be in attendance.
The awards ceremony will air on Naver’s video streaming service, V, as well as the Chinese video streaming site iQiyi.
Psy had an active year last year in the Chinese music scene, and the singer is slated to appear as a mentor on the Jiangsu TV music survival program “The Remix,” which will kick off in June.
