Veteran K-pop singer Lee Moon-se’s yearlong national tour has come to an end with success.
Lee’s agency on Monday announced the star has wrapped up his successful run with a final concert on Saturday at the LG Art Center in Yeoksam-dong, southern Seoul.
“Theatre Lee Moon-se” is the name of the concert tour that kicked off last April with the launch of his 15th regular album, “New Direction.”
Featuring many of his old hits as well as new ones, the star held 56 concerts in 19 cities across the country. The veteran proved his still-dominant status, selling out all seats in all 56 concerts throughout the year.
At the very last concert, Lee provided rice cakes to the audience to celebrate the end of his yearlong journey.
Debuting in 1978, Lee was one of the most popular singers in the 1980s.
