KBS accuses actress of derailing drama plans
Published: 21 Apr. 2016, 20:03

According to Starnews, a KBS official on Thursday said that SBS’s broadcasting of the drama is against professional courtesy.
“We had included the drama in our broadcast schedule for the second half of 2016,” the official said. “For the drama producer to ask SBS for time slots, while KBS had already finished all preparations, is against professional courtesy.”
According to the official, it was Kong who sparked the sequence of events. The actress allegedly made excessive demands for the airing and shooting times, as well as personnel decisions.
“We made some sacrifices to cater to her wishes, even repositioning the drama on Wednesdays and Thursdays, but the drama ended up with SBS,” the official said. “For the sake of a healthy industry, KBS’s broadcasting rights to the drama ‘Incarnation of Envy’ should be restored.”
Meanwhile, Kong’s agent responded by vehemently denying the allegations.
“Kong has not given any conditions regarding the production,” the agent said. “The reason why the drama has changed its direction to SBS was Kong’s schedule.”
The drama is scheduled to air on SBS in August.
