K-pop concerts coming to Incheon airport

With large numbers of international visitors expected to land in Korea in May, Incheon International Airport will host many cultural activities to introduce K-pop.

According to an airport official, “K-Attraction,” a five-day cultural event, will take place at Millennium Hall, located on the first floor of the passenger terminal.

On Sunday, the first day of the event, balladeers K.Will, Lyn and V.O.S will sing their hits and original soundtrack songs from many popular dramas. Rainbow, Winner, Halo and many other idol stars are set to perform more upbeat tunes on the second day.

On Tuesday, there will be an open shoot for the state-run English broadcaster Arirang TV’s show “After School Club.” The music show will give fans a chance to interact with Korean celebrities, including rapper Jesse, who is set to appear as a guest on the episode.

The last day of the event will invite four renowned designers to showcase the latest fashion trends of Korea.

Airport officials are currently accepting seating reservations for the event for free at cultureport.co.kr.
