Rapper Gill to release a new single
A new digital single from rapper Gill of the hip-hop duo Leessang is due out on Saturday.
For the single, titled “Refrigerator,” Gill joined hands with singer Lee Hi and rapper VerbalJint.
Magic Mansion, a music label launched by the 39-year-old musician, said on Wednesday that the digital single was co-composed by Gill and newbie composer Ahn Jin-woong.
The song talks about a couple who puts distance between each other while having a quarrel.
Gill recently returned to the music scene by appearing on the fifth season of the TV audition show “Show Me the Money” as one of the judges, and Magic Mansion said “Refrigerator” is the first digital single released by the musician since his return.
The rapper has been away from the public eye for awhile since he was caught driving under the influence of alcohol in 2014.
With that scandal, Gill left the popular reality TV show “Infinite Challenge.”
Gill debuted in the music scene in 1999 as a member of now-defunct hip-hop group Honey Family.
