Price beef

Customers check out the price of premium Korean beef, or hanwoo at one of the large discount stores in Seoul on Thursday. According to Statistics Korea, the average price of hanwoo rose 18.1 percent compared to the previous year, which is the sharpest increase in six years. Another report released by the Korea Agro-Fisheries and Food Trade Corporation said 100 grams of top-quality hanwoo sells for an average 7,472 won ($6.30).
