Yoon Je-moon to lie low after drunk driving

Veteran actor Yoon Je-moon announced that he will refrain from making public appearances after acknowledging that he drove under the influence of alcohol, according to his entertainment company, Namoo Actors, on Tuesday.

“[Yoon] was spotted sleeping inside his sedan on May 23 at 7 a.m. after driving drunk in Sinchon, western Seoul,” the talent agency said.

It has been confirmed that the celebrity’s blood alcohol content at the time was 0.104 percent, the level at which one’s driver’s license can be revoked.

Yoon’s latest scandal is expected to have a negative influence on his upcoming movies, five of which are scheduled to be released in the latter part of this year.

“The Last Princess” will likely feel the biggest impact, since it is scheduled to be released in August.

The public seems to be having a stronger reaction toward Yoon’s latest incident, since it was not the first time he has been involved in drunk driving.

Yoon has appeared in numerous major movies such as “Fists of Legend” (2012) and “The Host” (2006) and TV drama series such as “Deep Rooted Trees” (2011).
