Last episode of ‘Star King’ filmed
The last episode of the prolific SBS reality program “Star King” was filmed Monday, according to a source affiliated with the show.
“The last recording for the program took place on Monday evening, but when the episode will hit the air has not yet been confirmed,” the source said Tuesday.
The network has also officially confirmed the program’s completion.
“Star King” has been hosted by Kang Ho-dong since it began nine years ago.
It’s a survival program in which people with special talents compete against each other. The show was initially tested in 2006, and was officially picked up the following year.
“‘Star King’ was my school of life,” said Kang. “Every time I recorded the show, there was always something to learn.”
The program decided to make changes last August before its new season began in September.
Also on Monday, another SBS reality program “Same Bed, Different Dreams,” aired its last episode.
