사람들이 요즘 하는 스마트폰 게임에 대해 이야기해 보세요. 요즘 지하철을 탈 때마다 모든 사람들이 전부 스마트폰 스크린에 코를 박고 있는 거 같다. 그중 많은 이들이 게임을 하고 있다. 워낙 게임 장르가 다양해서 실제로 누구에게나 맞는 게임이 있다. 다들 가장 좋아하는 게임이 있을 텐데, 나도 예외는 아니다. 나는 퍼즐 게임을 특히나 좋아한다. 그럼에도 나는 스마트폰 게임이 왜 사람들의 인상을 찌푸리게 하는지 이해가 된다. 일단은 사람들의 대화에 방해 요인이 된다. 또한 작은 화면과 나쁜 자세는 의사들이 권장하는 것이 될 수가 없다. 그럼에도 불구하고 적당히 할 경우 스마트폰 게임은 아주 건전한 취미 생활이 될 수 있다.
Talk about smartphone games people play these days. Whenever I hop on the subway these days, it seems like everyone has their nose buried in a smartphone screen. Many of them are playing games. There are tons of genres so there really is something for everyone. We all have our favorites and I’m no exception. I have a soft spot for puzzle games. Still, I understand why smartphone games are raising eyebrows. For one thing, they’re obstacles to conversation between people. Also, the small screens and bad posture are certainly not what the doctor ordered. Nonetheless, in moderation, smartphone games can be a healthy pastime.

In moderation, smartphone games can be a healthy pastime. 적당히 하면, 스마트폰 게임은 건전한 취미 생활이 될 수 있다.
I don’t think it’s bad to drink, as long as it’s done in moderation. 적당히 마실 경우, 술을 마시는 것이 나쁘다고 생각하지 않는다.
You should always do things in moderation. 무엇이든 항상 적당히 해야 한다.
