Kwon Jin-ah will release first studio album
The singer-songwriter’s cover picture for her new album “Funny Night” was released on Friday by her label, Antenna Music.
This will be her first return since her last appearance on the SBS audition program, “K-pop Star 3” in 2014.
Kwon is recognized as a skilled lyricist and songwriter in the industry, often referred to as a hidden gem in Antenna’s jewelry case.
Her collaborative duet “For Now” with fellow “K-pop Star” contestant Sam Kim reached number one on major Korean music charts. Her other efforts from the audition program were highly praised due to her song arranging skills and her ability to sing well in many styles.
Kwon’s new album will drop on Sept. 19.
