Kangta to celebrate 20 years with concerts

테스트

Singer Kangta of former SM Entertainment idol group H.O.T. will hold a three-day solo concert titled “Coming Home” starting Nov. 4. The performance will be held in the SMTOWN THEATRE at the COEX Artium in Samsung-dong, southern Seoul.

The concert carries special meaning for the singer since it will mark his 20th year anniversary since his debut.

Fans are looking forward to hearing the singer’s new, mature sound since he last held a solo concert in 2008.

This performance will also be the seventh in a special series of concerts called “THE AGIT,” which features SM artists performing in their theater. Singers that have previously held performances as a part of the concert series include boy band Super Junior members Kyuhyun and Yesung, as well as Girls’ Generation member Tiffany.

Kangta debuted as part of the boy group in 1996, and is often regarded as being a part of the first generation of K-pop. Along with the recently reunited boy band Sechs Kies, the group was wildly successful in the late 90’s with a series of hit songs including “Line Up” (1998), “Hope (1998), “I Yah” (1999), and “Outside Castle” (2000).
