The boy group was able to dominate both domestic and international charts as well. Their latest single “Blood Sweat and Tears” scored an “all-kill” by topping all major Korean music charts, including Melon, Genie, Bugs, and Naver Music.
The idol group also topped the main album charts in 26 other nations as well, including Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Ireland, Laos, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway, Russia, Singapore, Sweden, Thailand, Vietnam, and others.
“We all gathered together to see the unveiling of our music video, as well as the release of our album,” said member Jin at a press conference at the Lotte Hotel in central Seoul on Monday. “We didn’t get much sleep since we were so nervous about the release.”
The group managed to break a personal record for 500,000 preorders placed for their latest album.
