SM’s BoA, BeatBurger team up for STATION
Dance music group BeatBurger will unveil a new song on Friday with singer BoA through SM Entertainment’s music project, STATION.According to the entertainment company, their new collaboration track “Music is Wonderful” will be released through all major music sites, including Genie, Melon, and Naver Music. It will mark the 37th track to be released through their digital music project, which features the company’s artists.
The song was described as an alluring and exotic track featuring strong beats and the group’s signature synthesizer instrumentals. It was categorized as a progressive EDM song, and will blend group member MQ’s rhythmic rapping with BoA’s unique vocal style. The singer herself was also involved in the track’s songwriting and composition.
This particular track was first performed live at the Spectrum Dance Music Festival, which was held on Oct. 1 at the Nanji Hangang Park.
BeatBurger was created by SM performance director Shim Jae-won and debuted in 2014. Their most recent single “VAGABOND” was released in August.
