LG Electronics bets on the medical imaging business
LG Electronics jumped into the medical imaging equipment market, the company said Monday.LG Electronics released three new products at a Radiological Society of North America 2016 conference in Chicago, which opened on Nov. 27 and runs through Dec. 1.
Surgical monitors offer more detail, clinical monitors show all of a patient’s past records on one screen, and digital X-rays offer images without using film. All three gadgets demonstrate the company’s advanced technology.
“We’ll lead the way in the medical imaging equipment market with our equipment that helps make medical decisions with precision and speed,” said Kwon Bong-seok, Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of LG Home Entertainment Company.
