Stacks of 50,000 won notes are deposited at KEB Hana Bank’s headquarters in central Seoul on Tuesday. The Bank of Korea said the amount of 50,000 won notes hit a record high last year of 22 trillion won ($19 billion), but the circulation rate remained at its lowest. [YONHAP]
