The Seoul Metropolitan Government named entertainers of diverse fields such as comedians, actors and musicians, as goodwill ambassadors of the city. The appointment ceremony was held Nov. 23 at the City Hall in central Seoul. The new faces who will promote the capital city include, from left, guitarist Shin Dae-chul, medical columnist Hong Hye-geol and his doctor wife Esther Yeo, comedian Jung Chan-woo, actor Han Ye-ri, Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon, actor Choi Bool-am (Choi has been the goodwill ambassador of the city since 1998), comedian Jang Do-youn, chef Choi Hyun-seok, TV personality Daniel Lindemann, and comedian Kim Tae-gyun.
Model Jang Yoon-ju, TV personality Sam Hammington and his son William, and TV personality Alberto Mondi, were also appointed goodwill ambassadors, but could not participate in the ceremony. [YONHAP]
