Park Yu-chun is heading to Japan

Singer Park Yu-chun, member of popular trio JYJ, will meet his Japanese fans in March. It is the singer’s first public appearance since being discharged from his work at the Gangnam District Office in southern Seoul as part of his mandatory military service in August 2017.

On Wednesday, Park posted an announcement for the fan meeting on JYJ’s official Japanese website. The event, titled “Reunion: Remember the Memories,” will be a two-day event, including a mini-concert and an opportunity to meet with fans.

The meeting will take place at the main arena of the Musashino Forest Sports Plaza in Tokyo.

The singer has been embroiled in a legal dispute since June 2016, after he faced four accusations of rape in the same month. However in March 2017, the singer was acquitted of all charges and was found to be innocent by the Seoul Central District Prosecutor’s Office.

His last fan meeting in Japan took place in August 2015, before he began his mandatory military service.
