Joss Stone is bringing soul to Seoul

British singer-songwriter Joss Stone, 31, will perform in Korea for the first time at a concert on March 18, according to organizers Doindie on Tuesday.

The singer will be performing with the Korean musician crew Days of Wine and Roses, which is comprised of Sunwoo Jung-a, the Barberettes, Echae Kang, and Mothervibes.

According to organizers, “The singer is touring over 120 countries for the ‘Total World Tour’ and this show will be a great opportunity to hear Stone’s earthy, soulful voice.”

At the age of 13, Joss Stone auditioned for the BBC TV program “Star for a Night” and won the hearts of British audiences.

In 2004, her album, “The Soul Sessions,” was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize and was nominated for Best Album at the MOBO Awards. The following year, the singer took home the British Female Solo Artist trophy at the BRIT Awards.

The concert will be held on March 18, at the Hanatour V-Hall, in Hongdae, western Seoul.

Tickets are available on Hana Ticket for 45,000 won ($41.85).
