Lee Jin-ah to write Yoo Seon-ho’s debut song
Lee Jin-ah, left, a singer-songwriter who shot to fame after appearing on the fourth season of “K-Pop Star” in 2015, composed the debut song for popular idol Yoo Seon-ho, who was discovered last year through the talent competition “Produce 101,” sources in the industry said Monday.
Lee’s knack for music composition was apparent when she competed on “K-Pop Star” with her own piece. Since the end of the program, the singer has not only composed all the songs in her debut album but also written many jingles for companies like Ottogi and Payco.
Yoo was a contestant in the second season of Mnet’s popular idol competition program “Produce 101” and is currently represented by Cube Entertainment. Since the end of the program, he has appeared on the tvN show “Escaping the Nest” and web drama “Akdong Detectives.”
He will release an EP tentatively titled “Spring, Seonho” on April 11.
