Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon to release song

Hyoyeon of the K-pop group Girls’ Generation plans to drop a solo track next week, her agency said on Thursday.
The singer’s new single, “Sober,” will be released at 6 p.m. Wednesday, SM Entertainment said. Hyoyeon will release the tropical future house track under the name Hyo, her DJ alias.
“Hyoyeon will actively promote herself as a rookie DJ by touring local clubs and also appearing at EDM festivals,” SM said. EDM is an acronym for electronic dance music.
The singer made her solo debut in December 2016 with “Mystery” and released a follow-up solo track, “Wannabe,” in May of last year. Yonhap
