SHINee tops daily album charts in Japan

Boy group SHINee topped the daily album chart on Oricon, Japan’s main music sales tracker, with the release of their album “SHINee The Best From Now On” on Wednesday, according to their agency SM Entertainment on Thursday.

The record also placed No. 1 on Apple iTunes album charts in 15 regions, including Japan, Romania, Chile, Peru, Qatar, Thailand, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, the Philippines and the United Arab Emirates.

The album features not only the Japanese version of the group’s greatest hits such as “From Now On,” “Replay” and “Lucifer,” but also a new title track recorded by all five members.

This year marks the group’s 10-year anniversary. Yoon Mi-rae drops latest song ‘Kawi Bawi Bo’

Hip-hop artist Yoon Mi-rae will release a single titled “Kawi Bawi Bo” today.

According to her agency Feel Ghood Music, the single is part of her upcoming album “Gemini2.”

The song’s music video teaser was released on Thursday, and featured women holding their fists in the air. According to the agency, Yoon hopes to portray a message of peace, solidarity and harmony through the song.

Yoon has been loved by many not only for her rapping skills but also her strong vocals. The artist’s most well-known songs include “As Time Goes By,” “Touch Love,” “Memories” and “Always.”
