Seungri heading out on first solo Japan tour

Seungri, the youngest member of boy band Big Bang, will go on his very first solo tour in Japan this summer.

According to his agency YG Entertainment, the singer will hold concerts in Chiba, east of Tokyo, on August 11 and 12, Fukuoka on September 5 and 6 and in Osaka on September 19 and 20.

Seungri topped the daily Oricon album chart in Japan when he released his solo album “Let’s Talk About Love” in 2013. He has also received praise in the country for appearing on local reality shows and showing off his impressive fluency in Japanese.

Seungri is currently the only member in the boy group who is not serving his mandatory military service. He has mentioned that he will begin his duty as soon as he finishes all of his previously arranged projects.
